Wow! I can't believe how time flies! It's been so long since my last post. I assure you, we did not fall off the face of the earth! It's hard to be on the computer for more than necessary when there is so much playing to do!
So what have we been up to since our last post???
FUN FUN FUN!!!
Ryker is 10 months old now! It's so crazy how time flies and how much he's grown! It's so bittersweet. I love the new adventures we are having, but I miss the younger stages too! The rolling over, the army crawl, the climbing, the big boy crawl, and now almost walking. Pretty soon I'll be sending him off to college! Ahhhh! It goes by so fast, I'm just hanging on to every little moment as hard as I can!
Ryker and I spend pretty much every waking minute together. I think the longest I've been away from him is only 2 or 3 hours and I hated every minute of it! Jake has been working so much (poor guy), so I don't really do anything that requires having a babysitter. I'm so lucky to be a stay at home mom and I love getting to spend so much time with my sweet boy! =) I would go nuts if I had to work!
Ryker is such an awesome Little guy! He is so mellow and just kicked back. He doesn't care if we're out running around or we stay in and play, he's always so content. I'm not sure what he loves to do the most; sit on Dad's shoulders and jam to music, play with his pups, dance, ride the horses, swim, play with his tractors in the dirt, or play with his toys at home.
It's so fun for me to watch him figure out new things. When he discovered his voice, I thought I would die laughing! He can now say Dad, hi, Mom, Pop/Poppa (grandpa), Pup, damn or down (not sure what he's saying, but it's something, probably damn lol), and Jake and I both have heard him say tractor, but he's only said it twice (both while playing with his little John Deere), so we're still not sure if that's what he's saying. He doesn't talk much unless he's in the mood, and he's usually only in the mood when he's at home, or playing at the barn.
I have a little mocking bird! I have to be careful now, Ryker is very observant (hence the word damn). He puts his chubby little arm up to his ear and pretends he's talking (yelling) on the phone every time he sees someone else on the phone. He stuck his tongue out and started breathing heavy one day and I wasn't sure what he was doing until Newt walked by us... She was panting. =) If the grownups are having a conversation and start laughing, Ryker will join right in with gibberish and his fake laugh! He is so funny and super cute! I just love my little man!
Sorry about the long post with no pictures! My computer is acting up and won't let me add any photos! They'd be the same that are on facebook though, so if you're my friend there, you're not missing much! =)<3
